Session: Utilizing WCF Power for Integrations

(Speaker: Mohamad Halabi)

This session will demonstrate how to put Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
power into practical use to build real-world integrations. If you are still vague about what
WCF is and how to use it in real projects, then this is your place to start.

Session: SQL Azure: Moving your Database to the Cloud

(Speaker: Nabeel Derhem)

Moving your data to the cloud can be challenging as SQL Azure environment and rules are somewhat different than your typical SQL Server.
If you are thinking about migrating your on-site applications and database from any RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySql, etc...) to SQL Azure, then you've come to the right place. In this session, Nabeel will discuss the challenges you should be prepared for, and the techniques and tools you can use to move your schema and data to the cloud such as DAC, SSIS, and BCP , plus what you need to know before using any of them

A simple introduction to XNA, the Microsoft gaming platform. Along with that a simple application will be built from scratch.

Session: A Journey to the Cloud (Windows Azure Platform)

This is a level-100 session. Are you familiar with Cloud Computing or Windows Azure Platform? If not, then this is your chance to know what is Cloud Computing , Windows Azure Platform and its components and what can offer to you. How pricing is done and which kind of applications can be in good candidate for the cloud. Finally, we will discuss some trends and issues (globally & locally) about cloud computing.

NOTE: This session does not require any previous knowledge about Cloud Computing or Windows Azure Platform
